Work title: NEURONS

Description:
When this project is considered that in these times, the new space of relationship and expression is a virtual space dominated by social networks and instant messaging methods via the Internet. With NEURON we use the smartphone that is always at our fingertips to allow citizens a quick and easy participation of socio-political life. Access to the application is simple and secure. It makes use of the new NFC chips that are embedded in the new Identity Documents and allows each user to identify immediately and in an untransferable form. Once inside, there are four basic functions of NEURON: 1 the execution of synapses, which is the name given to the interaction of ideas from different neurons or users getting synergies through feedback or support. 2 vote, or take part of making important decisions affecting our city. 3 transparency, or mantenese aware of everything that happens in the town hall or government team. 4 The meeting or form assemblies to live participate or join via streming by incorporating touchscreens to public space. In turn, the project has a physical translation in the city by placing screens that allow lecture in public with a statement of objective data collected by the application. It also enables reading the comments with more synapses or feedbacks, the viewing of voting results in real time and displays the online participation with other cities, allowing it to be an open dialogue between them. They have the ability to transform any area of the city a hub of political activity.

The competition entry has only partly fulfilled the competition criteria. Although the effort invested is appreciated, the work does not qualify for the second round.
